everytime I start TB! since I installed 3.81.0.10 Kasperskys
firewall Antihacker tells me that the executable has changed.
Just to be sure (the file on the disk doesn't seem to be
changed) any other firewall thinking that?
Look 'n Stop firewall asks only upon first run.

Hi Feli,
Confirmed.
I had installed 3.51 with Bayesit enabled (using blacklists as well)
then when I copied 3.6.02 and ran it it showed Bayesit starting,
stopping then The Bat crashed.
FW I cannot run this new version with BayesIt 0.0.8.1 enabled.

Hi Martin,
When downloading new messages and using the Mail Dispatcher
I do not use Mail Dispatcher, I click on the Receive New Mail button

This is one of those intermittent bugs - the loss of focus after

Ok, I have a manually activated filter which is programmed to move a
message to a specific folder when I press CTRL-T. Prior to version
3.5 this has worked. It does not work now. I assumed it was due to a
conflicting shortcut since when I press CTRL-T is bring up a copy to
folder dialog.

Hi BWMarcotte,

As usual left-clicking does not work. I attempted alt-key

BUT, RIGHT-CLICKING over an item would bring up the appropriate
context menu!

I have had a similar problem with The Bat not having focus
after downloading messages. The Bat has not frozen - if I
right click on The Bat in the taskbar and select close The Bat
responds and closes but I am unable to click on any buttons nor
and everything is fine again.
But, with v3.5 asking to save the view mode changes my only recourse
is to kill the bat from the task manager.
Would it be possible to have an option regarding whether or not to ask
to save view mode changes?

I deleted messages from a thread but the number of total messages
did not change. I attached a .png file showing the 7 remaining
messages with the total number of messages in the thread still
showing as 28.
Hi Marcus,
MO Next, I noticed auto-size was turned on, although I have
MO never used it. I found the new menu item Options |
MO Preferences | Limit expansion of the first column to
MO and that took care of it. It didn't how ever affect
MO the auto-sizing of the folder tree. Is there any way to
the auto-size feature annoying and would like a way
to turn it off in the folder tree.
I sent this email before I read the Columns that move.. thread.
Shutting down the bat then restarting has made it so that my folders
tree does not autosize.

Using The Bat! v3.5
Hi Alexey,
I installed 0.7.12 using bayeslogger and am attaching the output.
From a user perspective it installed without problems. Looking into
the log it shows a structured error.

Using The Bat! v3.0.2.10 on Windows 2000 5.| 0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4
at the contents it appears that it wants prior bayesit data.
I had uninstalled the prior bayesit and deleted the bayesit folder so
there was no prior install for 0.7.10 to use.

Just to provide as much data as possible I installed v0.7.7 from

So, it seems the problem with the crash lies with the initial setup of the

So the third time I installed v0.7.7 then shut down The Bat!, copied

So, it seems the problem lies with the installation of the plugin.

Using
to version 3 I will
downgrade my version to 2.04.4 and either find another email program
which will do what I wish or wait until I read in the email lists that
the basic errors have been fixed.
To sum up my position - first fix the bugs then add new features!
