Hi, Bat folks,

on  Thu, 13 May 2004 at 23:06:39 GMT +0200 (which was Thursday, May
13, 2004, 23:06 where I live) Markus Wilhelm wrote the following lines
regarding empty mails in The Bat! v2.11 Beta/5:

MW Hi batters,

MW just tried the new beta out and sent a new mail to my pal, copied text
MW as quote in it from clipboard, did some line-editing (Alt + L) and sent
MW it as plain text without any other sweetenings as html.

MW My pal complains about a completely empty mail!
MW Having a look at the sent folder shows he is right, not one sign is to
MW be found even typing F9 to show the whole thing.


Confirmed!

Same thing happenend to me.

Hi batters,

just tried the new beta out and sent a new mail to my pal, copied text
as quote in it from clipboard, did some line-editing (Alt + L) and sent
it as plain text without any other sweetenings as html.

My pal complains about a completely empty mail!
Having a look at the sent folder shows he is right, not one sign is to
be found even typing F9 to show the whole thing.

But in his reply he quoted my empty mail and this is what F9 shows
here: (filled in as regular text without quoting it)

Please try this:

1) Go to http://www.moving-target.de/comments/206_0_1_0_C/
or any other site containing nonformatted text (=each number of the list
has _one_ single line with a varying number of characters in it)

2) copy to clipboard

3) write a new mail (in plain text) and paste text from clipboard

4) send it to you

5) observe mailsize in sent folder

6) re-open sent mail (or try to read you own mail)

7) :-O
