No no - goto: Options - Preferences - Viewer/Editor - Profile Editor
and you can choose colour signature text.

   The signature is greyed out by TheBat! standards  (which I don't like), so 
hardly visible.  

   Greeting above is created automatically from the free form FROM name.

is in your own hands to change the From name to the name you would
prefer to be addressed by when we reply to you.

As you see above, I call you Thomas, and not the automated
Thomas Fernandez. And some days ago, I replied to Desk Quality Office,
but wrote Jerry. Etc.
Why not also looking at the signature?

Yes, this seems to be the clue: it shows on both accounts (simultaneously) that 
currently have unread messages. So, as it
seems, it's not an "active account" but an "unread messages" tick :)
Obviously yesterday only the first one happened to have unread msgs.

Working with 8.0.14.1 and 8.0.14.2

show this logo. The ones where all the messages are read don't show the tick 
mark, just the folder. If I mark all the messages in a folder as Read, the tick 
disappears.

All my accounts are IMAP, so I don't know if this is an IMAP-only thing.

means. Did you mean "active", as in "currently selected", or "currently 
perfoming an activity"?

A new icon as account logo?!

Hello everybody, 

   coming with one of the latest betas (I believe the 8.0.14.2), the first of 
my accounts got a new symbol, which looks like two arrows, one pointing up, one 
pointing down. 

  Like this: 

   


What does this mean? How can I control the presence of this icon?
