 shift+drag - drop on a different message - re-thread
 - drop down below, on the empty space - un-thread
 - drop on the same message - disintegrator ray

Former behaviour is to be restored, I think. Even if the disintegrator bug
were corrected, it's uneasy to unthread a message when the empty space is

You are correct - if you drag them up or down they WILL unthread.

If I _shift_drag them up they will re-thread, here. They un-thread only if I
shift-drag them down on the empty space after the last message in the list.

How do you break the thread? I can see messages disappear only if I shift-drag
a message on itself (it doesn't even have to be threaded, it happens with a
single message too). To unthread a message or a subthread, I shift-drag the
message down below the last message of the list, on the empty space of the

Ok, I realize now the full picture:

In v.4.x:
drag - re-thread (and you can't drop a message on itself).
shift+drag - un-thread (no matter where you drop the message).

In v.5.0.8.1:
drag - doesn't work.

You are correct - if you drag them up or down they WILL unthread. If you drag
it to the left or toward the tree and it is still near the message when you let
go, it will destroy the message.

You USED to be able to drag it to the left and have it unthread

Hi Maxim,

up and running.

Rethreading still does not work (wasn't this brought up weeks ago?).

Thread mark as read still does not work correctly. I mentioned this already
two times... It works when you only mark unread threads (which means the
first message has to be unread). But it does not work when you first mark a
read thread and then several unread threads.
