If I select an account other than the current active account, whether through the account tree or the main window bottom bar, it triggers a mail poll. I have the accounts set to "Connect to Server...when account is selected", which is why it refreshes when it does. I want to keep this behaviour, but the scrolling of the log window is the downside. An visual indication of the account giving the error would tell me which log to check. -- Julian Using The Bat! v5.4 on Windows 7 6.1 Build 7600 Current version is 5.2.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I access the account via the main window bottom bar and can see the log without triggering a mail poll -- Rick "This is the fundamental debate in our society: Are we a nation of citizens or a nation of consumers? Are we a democracy run by citizens, or are we a corporatocracy that holds consumers locked in dependency by virtue of their consumption?" There has been a long-standing feature request to highlight the account giving rise to the error (perhaps turning the account name red) to make it easier to find which account is generating the error. I have 10 accounts to check through if there is an error, and of course clicking on the account triggers a mail check and the log window scrolls, hiding the original error message unless I open the log. -- Julian Using The Bat! v5.4 on Windows 7 6.1 Build 7600 Current version is 5.2.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
