Re: Content dependent on subject contents through macro

2006-03-20 Thread MAU
Hello Marten,

snipped
What would be handy is to have the body completed automatically if the
 subject ends with space-spaceeom

 Can that be done?

I don't think so but, why don't you do it the other way around? That is,
type something in the body and complete the subject and body from it. I
use that a lot.

Hmmm that sounds possible - not perfect bit possible - so the next question
is how to do that?

I guess the macro called by the eom handle sets the subject - can I type a
line in the body and then that line gets pulled out and put in the subject
by the macro?

Ignoring URL's whilst Spellchecking

2006-03-20 Thread Paul Meathrel
Hi all,

I send quite a few emails each day which have the URL's for websites in the
body of the email. I'm in the habit of running a spell check on the email
before I send it, but every time I run a spell check it picks up of each piece
of the URL separately! So for example if I put the following URL in the email:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4824642.stm

the Spellchecker will pick up on: http, bbc, uk, europe and stm as words which
require suggestions. Since TB is capable of identifying a URL in the body of an
email is there a setting that I've missed that will tell the Spellchecker to
ignore URL's?

No help I know but I copied your mail across (including the url) and the
spell checker missed both your URL and mine in my sig. It also didn't
touch the http etc. Just a thought but, have you downloaded and
installed the international language pack which I believe you have to do

According to the Ritlabs website
(http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/diff.php):

In the Professional Edition the dictionaries are a part of the standard
installation file.

When I reinstalled my machine a few days ago I simply downloaded the latest Pro
version from the RL website and entered my registration key. From what the
website seems to indicate I'm guessing that I don't need to install the
International Pack. I will give it a try however and see what happens!

Open up the editor (for instance as if you're replying to this) and then
go to Spell checker. When the dialogue box comes up choose
dictionaries down at the bottom and you can even make a custom one
