Hi Costas, CP I think the problem is caused if you have the same person's email CP address appearing in more than one group in the addressbook, but with CP different display names, or even with blank display names. In my case CP I have the same person(s) listed in English and Greek, in different CP groups in the same addressbook. Hence the problem. You want TB! to just look for an e-mail address but you have several matching AB entries. What would you expect? So you have more than one AB entry for one e-mail address. You can assign as many groups to one AB entry as you want. Why not make these persons a members of both groups English _and_ Greek? But wait... different display names... hmm. Quick templates? Hi Gerard, David Another addition that might become useful is when you have a mouse David with a third or middle button. You can assign F4 to it, so then all David you have to do is highlight the text and press the button. GdV I feel that if you mark a piece of text and press reply you are telling GdV the software you just want the blocked area in the reply. Therefore GdV there is no need at all to press special buttons to get just a piece of GdV the text. Hmm, sounds logical but: many people seem to read mails (and Webpages) with their mouse pointers following/leading their eyes and marking the letters they fly over, you know what I mean? When they reply on a mail and still accidently have parts of the text marked... in your scenario - chaos ;-) But maybe you are right (BTW I think F4 is better than Shift+Alt+something g) GdV Just my 2 (Euro)cents. Re: New message from Favourites Memo in saved file
Hi Thomas, AA I'm having problems with the latter, not the former. I have no AA problem getting the account New message template to send BCC's. I AA *do* have a problem getting BCC's sent if the message is started AA by clicking on the Create a new message drop-down box in the AA main toolbar. Re: using other accounts to reply/fwd with when email is in another accounts inbox
Hi Dierk, [ using another account when replying ] DH 1. Hit reply. DH 2. Go to Options and change the account. DH 3. Put the cursor into the message body. DH You now should have the default template from the chosen account with DH the header info from that account. If you don't have that, another DH template (individual, group or folder) may have kicked in. No *huh*, that's not true here on v1.54 beta 22. Template doesn't change to the other account's default (or any other) template. Quotestyle and some other settings (not the privacy settings) change but _not_ the template itself. I'm a little confused as the behavior you describe is exactly what I expected to happen when switching to another account. DH I have set up some QT's I especially use for business mass mailings DH with the %ACCOUNT macro to avoid any incorrect header info DH (particularly my address). They work like a charm. Okay, with QTs. But manually? DH Also the manual way works when I have to use it - as long as I DH haven't entered text into the message body. Could you please check it again ;-) it doesn't work here. *hmmm* (don't know if this is a beta issue... you, Dierk, use the same version as I do) BTW it works very well when you modify the _TO:_ field. -- Best regards, Carsten The Bat!
