TB does not react to Windows “Show Desktop” – try Windows+M
 and see for yourself.

  Allie Martin:
 TB! disappears/minimizes here.

  Andre Wichartz:
It depends on whether you have TB! set to show in the task bar.

I can confirm this. Options - Preferences - General, _check_
Do not display program icon on the Task Bar and TB will not
react to Windows “Show Desktop” from Windows+M. However, TB
always reacts to the Show Desktop button on the Taskbar.

Checking Do not display program icon on the Task Bar should
not disable TB from paying attention to Windows+M, right.

Here, TB! behaves as I would expect if it is the only window open.

However, if there is another application running in a non-minimised window (behind
the TB! window) only the other window reappears the second time I click the
show desktop icon - TB! remains minimised until I click its taskbar button.

What do you mean: does not react? For me, doing that minimises everything

TheBat! also reacts to the Show Desktop button on the Taskbar.

You might find that the Show Desktop icon is not visible but rather
is in the pop up list at the right of the quick start icons. I can get
the same result here until I move the icon to the visible area by
unlocking the toolbar and making it wider.

AW It depends on wether you have tb! set to show in the task bar.

I don't have any such Windows Button to go with a + M. I can get the
Desktop with a rightclick on the Taskbar, which brings up a Context
menu.

Mostly I go with downsized cascading windows, anyway, so that the
Desktop is always visible around the edges, with the icons I use most,

Still, I want to know, how can I have that button St. M wrote about?

You should get so called MS (some call it Windows) keyboard. It has
additional button between Crtl and Alt.

Such keyboards often have a Context menu (menu shown at right click)
button as well.

Unless you have a very old 102 or 101-key keyboard (or and IBM lap-top), you
definitely have the Windows Logo key. One is located between left Ctrl and
Alt, the other is between right Alt (AltGr) and Menu keys.

Ok. I set TB! to not be shown on the taskbar.

If I restore TB! from the systray and then hit Win-D, TB! simply loses
focus but isn't minimized. However, it's minimized after hitting Win-D
again.
