There has been a long-standing bug when deleting contacts from the AB.
If the contact is in two groups, and each of those has Hide items if
not explicitly selected, then when deleting _any one_ of those
groups, the contact gets deleted (even though it should stay in the

Hello TBUDL,
Is it just me or does the Hide items if not specifically selected
option not work correctly. I created a folder that had this
selected, added names, and then decided not to keep this option so
that I would see the names in the main list, but it is not allowing
me to do so.
In previous versions, double clicking a name in the address book opened
a compose window.
Does not do so in 2.02.03.
Reported.
Using XP Pro.
Current version is 2.02.3 CE | Using TBUDL information:

when there's no 'default'-addressbook set (where addresses go when
you use the ctrl-w combo), the address isn't added to
any address-book...
to reproduce:
- delete all your address-books from the list
- re-add them, don't select a default
- try to add an address
