Hi Roelof! The messages that came back, after rebuilding the .tbi file were only those that I had expected; no perviously filtered or deleted emails showed up. And, I'm pretty sure that all the mail disappeared immediately after an Access Violation error, and this was not the result of

There's another way to get these accidentally disappeared messages back - I've had this happen to me, too. Select the folder they disappeared from (in this case your inbox), then from the Folder menu select Browse deleted messages and make sure that Message list is checked in the View menu. Then
