spell checker - three usage questions / difficulties

Hi I cannot work out a couple of things about using the spell checker. Firstly, how do you abort the spell-check but still send the message. If I press cancel, the spell-checking is cancelled but so is sending the message. The only way round this I've found so far is menu Spell ch
