In my view, this is one place where OE has it right and TB! has it
wrong. What MS understood and TB! creators might be missing is that
IMAP isn't just a POP
The problem is real, but it isn't a "bug" so much as a missing
feature. Outlook Express, to use one example, keeps two different
computers accessing the same IMAP account in perfect sync. That is,
not just "new" message headers are downloaded.
For example, let's say I create a new folder in OE

Are you using IMAP or POP3? With IMAP there is need to select 'Leave
messages on server' as IMAP keeps all messages on the server in their
designated mail folders.

AFAIK: F2: check mail for this account, Alt-F2: check mail for all
I checked my IMAP e-mail account in TheBat! 1.46d. TheBat found my IMAP
mail folders:
/home/username/mail/*
However, the IMAP folders do not appear in TheBat at all. Each time I
check IMAP e-mail by pressing F2, the IMAP mail folders (actually files
on the Unix mail server) are found

TheBat! 1.46d may have an IMAP bug. I noticed in the mail check window
