We discussed this during the TB meeting on January 27; it was agreed
upon[1] that this is entirely the remit of the SRU team. As such, we'll
let them decide on how best to handle this.

DMB expiry to reinstate / extend

2019-09-23 Thread Mathieu Trudel-Lapierre
Hi,

I (cyphermox) along with Jeremy Bicha (jbicha) seem to have expired
from the DMB team. There have not been elections yet to determine new
DMB members.

Please reinstate us / extend this membership for a few months while we
can set up elections for the Development Membership Board. I have
already added this to the agenda wiki page.

Regards,

If we can report on the current members in the development team vs.
what their upload rights are (core-dev, MOTU, or the relevant team for
packageset upload) we'll already have some initial data to work with.

Then, we also do have some amounts of data to try to guess if a
particular developer is "active"... It's possible, it just becomes
computationally expensive (at least if you check -changes mailing list
against developers in the right development teams, etc.), for not a
ton more "certainty" on whether someone is active.

Sorry for the late response. I suggested it because I'm happy to write
a new script / modify the existing to get this data. I'll see to get
this working soon, so we have some data to work with before the disco
release.

Specifically for *that* requirement, being that at least one active
developer with the sufficient upload rights exists, we have scripts
for the DMB that could be adapted to warn when some teams have no
members. I don't think it would be much work to adapt it to check
memberships for packagesets.

The packageset reports [1] already include all the information, too.

Indeed. Furthermore, I did nominate myself for the board, and my name
does not show up. :)
