Nothing in (the original) teTeX refers to these files. Correct me if I
am wrong. If something in debian refers to these files, debian should
provide them.

problem. The issue had come up before with BeOS, and Thomas Esser's suggested

The precise problem also occurs on Sun Solaris 9 for Intel (not
Sparc). I have not even had time to track it down in any
detail (I just reboot to Linux), but would really like to see
a solution. I'll try looking at it tonight, if no one else
has any great ideas.
