Over many years/decades of dealing w/City of Austin, TCEQ, USFW, TXDOT and

It's plugged up! The city did a dye trace on Austin C. such as it is. The trace
never showed up and all there is to the cave is bout 15 feet of passage b4

All, I saw the Chicago Field Museum exhibit when I was up in July, it's pretty
amazing the way it's built, it meanders like passage and each section has a

neighborhood 1 day event. This is our 4th year of
co-hosting this event.
2 small caves will be open for the general public
Sat. Oct. 29th was the annual Cave Day event at the
Western Oaks Karst Preserve. The turnout was
terrific, similar to last year, around 650-700 people
visited this small cave preserve located in south
Austin.
