I have been trying to follow the news of the lava flow in Hawaii.
Most of the news is the same day after day, At the rate things are
going, the river of lava will move down the beach in a southerly direction
and destroy Ahalanui County Park

It is my opinion, that the news media has done a very poor job of reporting
the exciting lava flow on the east coast of the Big Island of
Hawaii.
The video link below is from a resident that lives near the major lava
fountain ( filmed about 2 days ago ).

Yeah the news seems to love that fear angle. The fact that most of the island
is just fine doesn't make good copy.
That said, the videos posted are pretty awesome.
It also seems to me that an awful lot of the things we have done in the past
are now supposed to kill you.

It is my opinion that the major news media has been at least a day or 2
behind on the news of the
lava events going on near Kilauea. Also, they are so vague in their
post, often using
3rd party stories, and old footage, and they water-down the stories to
appeal to the I.Q. of their
audience.
