Strangely, I've never encountered the problems you mentioned except
the table markup of TW.
(Fx 3.0.3/ WinXP SP3)
You could try these steps:
1) clear the cache and cookies of your browser
2) close your browser
3) open your TW in browser again
and/or please try the original copy

means when I search for say Term1 Term2 I get 2 hits. But when I
search vor Term2 Term1 I will get only 1 hit.

I figured it out. I looked at my backup folder online and it was only
updating my xml file so I went into my local copy and unchecked the
RSS and backup folder option and now it works!
