It seems to me that when the upgrade cannot be upgraded using the

Hi Mark,
It is one of the configuration options.
You can set it in Advanced options (check 'Shown unkown options').
Or set it in an configuration tiddler with
config.options.txtMaxEditRows.

Hi
I'm also seeing recursion errors in tabs and the upload button doesn't
work in Firefox 5.
I'm not sure about the former, but in terms of the latter, Tiddlyspot
uses the UploadPlugin to upload to the web which uses a deprecated
function called doHttp.
Is BidiX still maintaining this plugin?
Thanks Ton,
I changed it both in the options and by a manual configuration
tiddler. Set it to 100. But it doesn't seem to change the number of
rows the text editor shows. Keeps showing about 23 rows, with anything
more than that scrolling.
What I would like is to show all the lines in the text
What I would like is to show all the lines in the text edit box, with
no scrolling (I'll scroll the entire TW page if I have to).

If you use Chrome, it's a non-problem, as it will allow you to resize
the control to your immediate needs by dragging the bottom-right

Yup, deleting cookies in IE8 fixed the tabs error and the stack

I just read https://github.com/TiddlyWiki/tiddlywiki/issues/44
That would indeed fit all my observations, and explains why I can

On Upgrading...
I never really understood the need of a dedicated, internal updgrade
process. Why not just import all tiddlers from an existing tiddlywiki
into a plain TiddlyWiki of the new version? If there are plugin
errors, you will sure see them.
Also, I don't think it is reasonable to
