Is it possible to hide the toolbar (at the top of Tiddlers) and only visible
when you hover the tiddler (as in TWC)?

Hi all,
I am using Windows 7 64-bit and mainly Firefox, Chrome when needed (e.g.
first upload to TiddlySpot).
Today I started a new TiddlyWiki and wanted to add a favicon.
In the past I added an icon by dragging/dropping an icon to my TW and
renamed it to $:/favicon.ico.
NB To be honest I
Hi Odder,
Yes, that is possible.
I use a light/dark blue color scheme:
/* COLOR OF TIDDLER BUTTONS */
html .tw-tiddler-controls svg {
fill : #9CF; /* light blue */
}
html.tw-tiddler-controls button:hover svg {
fill : #04B;/* dark blue */
}

Is this for TWC or TW5? Wich is the current status? Is this conversation the
only place where I can grab it from?
Thanks in advance

Hi Stephan,
Never thought about that; didn't even know it existed.
I learn every day ;)
Thanks,

Hello All,
I recently set up my server to accept saves of TW5. It is working like a
charm, but I have some related questions:
- If the connection to my server is over https, then should I suposse
that my wiki is sending encripted? Only during transmission, of course.

I installed TW5 on node.js on Windows. I created a new empty tiddler. I
dragged a TW5 datafile over the empty TW5 file that runs on node.js. After
that I deleted the empty tiddler and node.js gave the following error:
Internal JavaScript Error
Well, this is embarrassing. It is recommended
This syntax* has not yet been implemented*, so until then, the HTML syntax
you are using is the correct fallback.

Hi Ton,
thanks for your answer. If I use the entries in my stylesheet the toolbar is

when I point on one of the symbols it is visible. But only
Hello,
I love the Topbar in TW5 (http://tw5toolbar.tiddlyspot.com/). I use it a
lot every day. Most of the time I have the sideBar collapsed.
The only thing that makes me opening it again is the search field. I know
there is already implemented a button to search in the top bar, but it

No. It's not the syntax, it's the \. Use the standard / and not the WinDOS

I had exactly the same question, and it turns out that searching in fields
*already
works*! It's just a bit of a kludge. :)
By using the $list widget you can take advantage of the richer filter
syntax. I couldn't find where it's documented, but you can figure it out
pretty easily by digging

I certainly hope we're still newbie friendly here, and I'd be concerned if
the discussion was anything but courteous and respectful.
I've updated the welcome message a bit, and would welcome comments and

Eric,
Thanks for the explanation. I can see the value in the simple workflow
that results from the automatically generated title. However, I think my
preference is to have some descriptive content in the title, like Staff
