Hi M,
I don't know if this will look beautiful, but you could add some
unbreakable spaces (nbsp;)
If you use 5 of them in a row, this should provide a small enough cell to
click in to be able to benefit from the TiddlerWithEdit functionality.
I do this in some tables in my main TW.
Enjoy !
Hi calumet,
From your nickname and mail address I guess that you might be french or at
least french-speaking.
Note that there is also a french TiddlyWiki Google group
(https://groups.google.com/group/TiddlyWikiFR) if you need additional info
in the future (even if the real experts are here
Hi Jeff,
Are you sure that it is indeed the Theme in which you made both changes that
is applied ?
Seeing only one tiddler at a time is *normal* for the TiddlersBarPlugin
behavior, except that you should of course see the tab bar also :)
And the fact that you are not seeing any of the two
that this theme, and not a default
one, is loaded on startup
I've sent you your file back in another email.
Enjoy !
Nicolas.

Hi zen,
You could use Eric's QuoteOfTheDayPlugin (
http://www.tiddlytools.com#QuoteOfTheDayPlugin) to achieve this
functionality.
Enjoy !

Hello again Zen,
1. QuoteOfTheDayPlugin is a... plugin, so it works as every plugin in
TiddlyWiki, you'll have to import the entire plugin inside your TiddlyWiki
document.
If this is the first time you're actually adding a plugin, you might find
some useful information in the knowledge base here
Hi,
In order to find the button you expect, a tiddler needs to modified
(ViewTemplate)
This is usually done automatically by the plugin, but depending on your
TiddlyWiki flavor (for example, are you using MPTW ?), you could have to do
this yourself if the standard ViewTemplate is not used
Hi again JR,
I found the answer to both your questions while reading this post : you are
indeed using MPTW.
You'll find the instructions to make EasyEdit work in your other post, and
I guess the reason you're not seeing the TiddlersBarPlugin is the same one,
you are missing a line in your
Hi Marco,
In fact, there are two different scenarios, and the menus are evolutive.
When you're viewing your site online on TiddlySpot, then only two commands
are available to you (save changes remains visible but you cannot use
it) :
- save to web (which is the equivalent of save changes but
Hi Phasma,
This might be possible using out-of-the-box MPTW functionalities, I can't
remember for sure...
One thing is sure though : using TiddlerListMacro [1] you can achieve this
*very* easily (I do it in my MPTW)
Simply install it, then, in your MainMenu, type :
tiddlerList tags:MainMenu
Hello Herb,
The behavior you are describing reminds me *a lot* of
MonkeyPirateTiddlyWiki (aka MPTW), which is one of the modified flavor of
TW.
Is it such a version that you are using ? If yes, then it is an explicit of
this feature to shift the MainMenu to the top, so if you are just
You're welcome.
Note that TiddlyWiki does not have all the features MPTW has regarding the
tagging functionalities, so if you need them, you'll have a dilemna to
solve.
You could also keep the MPTW for the tagging functionality and restore a
menu on the left (there have been several questions on
Hi Mark,
What exactly does it tell back when you try to save ? Do you get a Main
TiddlyWiki file saved confirmation of some kind or nothing ?
Also, I assume you're using InternetExplorer, from the error you're having.
Ccould you at some point have denied some of the ActiveX authorisations ?
Hi Geert,
Are you talking about adding a tag to a tiddler while in edit mode
(clicking on tag at the end of the line : Type tags separated with
spaces, [[use double square brackets]] if necessary, or add existing
tags), or adding a tag in view mode (something like Lewcid's

Hi Carol,
As it sounds, if you download something from the internet *over* your
existing version, you'll likely lose the content of your actual TiddlyWiki
so I'm not sure this sounds like the best option.
Which flavor of TiddlyWiki are you using (standard, MPTW, etc) ?
Also, do you have plugins
Bump :)

Hi Matt,
Well you named it, the TiddlerEncryptionPlugin is what you're after, it only
depends how you use it.
In fact, provided you tag all encrypted tiddlers with the same tag, for
example with Encrypt(MasterPassword), then you could just add a Decrypt
