Bit of a brain dump;
I recommend following the above advice but I do set my USB Drive letter on
every PC I use.
Also I open my tiddlywiki using a portable firefox (see portableapps.com),
so I take all my saved passwords, cookies and addons including the fantastic
tiddlysnip with me.

Another advantage of using directories under the main Wiki directory,
if you need to copy/send/move the Wiki, you can just take the whole
directory and all of its contents. without worrying about losing any
links.
