I don't know what you'd do with 10KHz except divide it by 10,000
to create your own 1PPS but how to get it to "tick" on the exact UTC second?
If you were displaying tenths of seconds then you'd need the 10K output
(divided by 1,000) to drive a counter that gets reset to zero by the PPS.

I see suggestion to use an Arduino or the like and program it. That could
work too but if the little computer is powerful enough to run a unix-lil OS
you save some effort because they already come with built-in utilities to
do things on a schulue and to stay sync'd with an external clock signa
your desired serial port/ethernet connection, etc.

like the know if the more expensive methods really do perform
measurably better. What I'd do is start with a cheap cable TV
splitter that blocks DC on one side and then upgrade later if
required.

mast mount a few feet back on the eve of the roof.
I have the LMR-400 collecting dust and the RG-213 sized N connectors... so
I'll just use what I have handy.

I bet in a few years the accelerometers and gyros will be good enough
use get your location by integrating the forces on the phone.
So just tell the phone not to report your location and it will not.
