fluke.l monitor a few months ago and tried it on my two different Thunderbolts.
On one Thunderbolt all data is displayed correctly. However when connected to
the second Thunderbolt the monitor displays all data
Just a FYI, when a regulator goes into thermal shutdown, it oscillates in and
out of operation. That is, once it shuts down, it cools off, then turns on
again. Bench testing LDOs regularly puts the chips in this mode. The frequency
is low, maybe 10Hz.

That may be so Chris, but Didier's original design is fine. I have had
two of them running
