Wayne, there was a superb 2015 QEX article by KD2BD on his WWVB disciplined frequency standard. Full article is online here: http://www.arrl.org/files/file/QEX_Next_Issue/2015/Nov-Dec_2015/Magliacane.pdf As a frequency standard I have no major disagreement with the PTTI article. But the 100

PPP works on observations - i.e. pseudorange and accumulated doppler range from the antenna to the satellites - it does not know or care what position the reciever thinks it is at, so that makes sense. Ole On Sun, Apr 7, 2019 at 8:02 PM John Ackermann N8UR wrote: > I got the NRCan results

[time-nuts] Navsync CW25 rollover

The Navsync CW25 crapped its pants when rollover occurred. It (and a lot of other Navsync devices) have a known firmware bug where they stop tracking sats if the week number is 0. Sure enough, at zero hour, all the sats disappeared. Conner Winfield has firmware updates for the problem

I was running my newly-acquired Z12 (with 1999 firmware) overnight, capturing RINEX data via Lady Heather, using Cesium reference. This morning Lady Heather showed the receiver still tracking satellites and giving time, but the lat/long/elevation were frozen -- lat and long were correct, but
