using JDK 1.5,
fedora core 1 on
old intel celeron 440 server

Hello,
I have just tried to compile the jsvc tool for SGI IRIX 6.5. However,
this system is not supported in the moment. In the INSTALL.txt file of
the source package it was remarked that you need details of the
operating system and the JDK to implent it into the jsvc.

I've also run this test under windows with the standard procrun 2.0
installation, which runs OK without error.
The problem only occurs when using jsvc. It's not a problem

Hi,
I have following question. I'm running tomcat on my linux box in chroot
jail and via jsvc (to use other then root user). There is no way to
directly specify the -server swicth of the underlaying JDK (Sun
1.4.1_05) via jsvc. Is this option automatically set or not?

Resolution
The version of jsvc bundled with Tomcat 5.0.18 does not build
successfully. There is a syntax error on line 110 in
/bin/jsvc-src/native/home.c. The line is missing a semicolon.

INSTALL.txt in jsvc bundled with Tomcat 5.0.18 states that it creates
./java/service.jar and ./native/jsvc. My build instead created ./jsvc
and didn't create ./java/service.jar. Have I done something wrong?
