just checking - are you sure Tomcat is running as root?
with 3.3 on linux the tomcat.sh script automatically calls the su command to
change the user to tomcat before starting - is this not the same on solaris?

Hi,
I'm running apache-1.3, tomcat-3.3.1, redhat Linux-7.2

I found a couple of posts regarding this problem in the archives, but no fix

working on has been running fine for over a month.
here's the stacktrace:
the
operation and I got the default IE 'dns' error screen. After this, I had
problems trying to instantiate beans within this context.
tomcat restarts and full machine restarts have no effect.

Hi list,
Just wondering if anyone has tried using apache mod_rewrite to rewrite their

If so, have you noticed any favourable impact on your rankings? Just curious
