Yes just sticking a wire to it does not make it Ethernet you must
reconfigure .

I am almost certain with the Duet Receiver
If that doesn't work, try another power supply if possible. (And make
sure it's 100% compatible)

I would check the port that LMS is listening on and make sure that it is
still open on the firewall that you are using. I would not be surprised
if the Windows update process did not carry your old firewall rules
forward.
