The devices don't accept direct commands it has to come either from a local LMS or the mysqueezebox.com one. What's a smart playlist...? I did mention that you can enable lms on the Touch from its user interface by the way if you wanted to use the squeezer app. As for local music from iPod,

Well I sort of solved the problem. I have a really old Samsung Infuse Android phone. I copied the old Logitech Remote install (Squeezebox-5.apk) to the phone, tweeked security to allow a non Google install, started the app, logged into mysqueezebox.com and viola... the exact app that I
