About a year ago a couple of my 'file types' got screwed up, it was
noticeable for some odd reason or other, but using these settings
cleared whatever problem I was having :confused:

You haven't disconnected then re-connected your speakers lately, have
you? Could you have reversed the phase (swapped positive/negative) to
one of your speakers?

You haven't accidentally turned on bitrate limiting have you? Check in
LMS > Settings > Player > Audio page.
