Once you power it up the Touch will step you through its setup. All
straight-forward. Firmware will depend on what version of server you
are running. Post back here if any questions/issues.

I've had a couple of Touches in boxes for the last 2+years, mainly as
potential replacements for my Transporter should it ever fail. But I do
have a Duet/Receiver, in moderately active use (couple of times a week).
I think it's time to dust off one of the Touches, and put the Receiver
in storage

I just shut down my server (Zyxel NSA310 running LMS) and found that the
same thing happens - 403 forbidden comes up when I select the AAC-LC
stream.

yes i am.strange thing is all the other(mp3) streams thru the bbc app
play fine.it's just this R3 AAC stream,which is all i listen to, that

The AWS servers used by LMS to be based in the Germany but they can
move around but AFAIK none are in the UK.

OK, sorry for the confusion.
On your 'My Apps' list on the Touch there should be an app called 'BBC'
- is this missing?

which is from the BBC Website, on My Favourites at MySqueezebox dot com.
It does not play on my Touch, it does play on my LMS install and on
foobar.

Then reinstall the BBC app.

alone device connected to hifi.i have tried adding the url to favourites
in my squeezebox but this only shows on the touch when i have my laptop
on and logged in to my squeezebox.when i sign out of my squeezebox LMS
