Hello, I am having the same issues in my hp envy y013cl laptop.I tried
the above steps but could not get the audio from speakers working.Please
help me fix this issue.Will provide all the necessary logs.

Please do a test.
Boot with the regular kernel (5.0.0-35-generic), make sure the speakers
can work after booting, then run:
amixer sset 'Auto-Mute Mode' 'Disabled'
After that plug a headphone and unplug the headphone, does the speaker
still work?

After system startup there is no sound from built-in speakers.
After connecting headphones sound works correctly in headphones.
After disconnecting headphones

To install the testing kernel:
sudo dpkg -i linux-modules-xxx.deb
sudo dpkg- i linux-image-xxx.deb
sudo dpkg -i linux-modules-extra-xxx.deb

info.txt_speaker_ok (by run alsa-info)
Then plug headphone and unplug the headphone.
Make sure the speaker can't output sound anymore, please generate an
alsa-info.txt_speaker_fail
Then upload both alsa-info.txt_speaker_ok and alsa-
