I upgraded from 14.04.5 to 16.04.1 on three different 32b machines. All
of them have the same issue and it happens in several applications. For
example if I attempt to update and/or upgrade the software, at one point
the GUI prompts for the password. However it is grayed out

modem enabled, which is not doable on test environments.
Yes, it was abandoned upstream because ofono-qt was mostly replaced by

/usr/bin/readlink in busybox is a bug, fixing this is definitely not

see the album art in the Music app but don't see the album art in the

Ah, I was just able to confirm that 3G does work. I don't know if that
would provide a way to download a fixed system image or something - but
it'd be expensive and unreliable.
Also, there is a wlan0 device when I run ifconfig. Is there a way to
configure a new wifi network on the command line?
Actually installed 16.04.1 again and updated, installed epson drivers.
"sudo simple-scan
sudo scanimage ..."
Not working.. simple scan opened but is not identifying the scanner, not
working .
In "preferences" "Scan sources" is given as "Epson(unknown model)".

The normal procedure to perform a Netboot installation of Ubuntu 16.04 is to
download the latest vmlinux and initrd.gz files available, and kexec them with
no parameters
I'm having the same issue. Hopefully someone else has a recommendation.

Gluten print + cups install automatically when MFD printer is connected
for the first time. Changed to epson driver.. Now 'simple scan' not
loading, no error message , iscan and scanlite gives the same error
message. restarted the system, printer but no use. Error persists.
