After system boot there is sound and when I adjust volume with the slide (top
right corner of the screen) it produces default sound. About 10 minutes (may be
related to loading of certain s/w) later during the same session the slider

Headphone has no sound out
Actually, I’ve just found out that adding “Option “PrimaryGPU” “Yes”” to
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-nvidia.conf made the 3D acceleration (and
nvidia-settings) work! However, now, I have no way to switch between AMR
Raven and GTX: it always uses the GTX.

Right, thanks! I also talked with Dan to make sure this change gets
backported to focal as well. I won't block on that as the systemd
uploads for eoan/bionic/xenial are long overdue, but Dan will make sure
this is not forgotten.

On Ubuntu 20.04 I experience similar issue as diagnosed by @prayerholmes
. Selecting on the pop-up headset breaks the audio (but the microphone
works!). After changing on settings->audio the input from `headset
microphone - built-in audio` to `Internal microphone - built-in audio`
and then back to
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
