very sorry but the status updates from you are not so clear to me:
- I encounter the same problem on my Trusty 14.04.3 with "cairo-dock" version
3.4.0 (Cairo Dock autoloading on bootup, not possible to logout from Cairo)
- is there a fix for these versions (the delayed start suggested
oops, sorry I see my mistake: Cairo is of course not starting on bootup, but
indeed during user session start : I put an entry in /etc/xdg/autostart.
The workaround with a delayed start (by adding "X-GNOME-Autostart-Delay=N" in
/etc/xdg/autostart/cairo-dock.desktop) doesn't work. It starts
great... due to that "feature" i just lost a day of precious working time and
had to drive almost 100 miles for nothing. following this thread to find out
why /etc/init.d/networking restart not working anymore (and causing lots of
unwanted effekts and in the end lost connectivity ) to find out
Confirm fix works.

Mouse buttons stop

During an xorg session my mouse buttons suddenly stop working. I can
move the mouse and control everything with the keyboard, but the mouse
buttons do not work. Also the mouse cursor is no longer correct. Most of
the time it just shows the hand with the pointing finger
Does anyone have an idea what I could do about this. Maybe some logs or
processes to check? This happens almost daily and is really starting to
get annoying.
It mostly seems to happen if I move from my secondary to my primary
