New programs are also affected. I had to run also:
sudo aa-complain /usr/lib/telepathy/mission-control-5

There is no component files for i386 on amd64 in /var/lib/apt/lists/
If you download the corresponding dep11 files and refresh appstream cache then
a search returns the right results.

might give some clues about what might going on. E.g. your locale, PS1,
PROMPT_COMMAND etc. _might_ be relevant. (I cannot reproduce your

I'm running 16.04 now, the bug still exists. Also, when I press ctrl-L,
the screens do go to sleep, but then after half an hour, switch back on

In the absence of an explanation for why this bug should be closed when

I have Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro laptop and had the same problem. After reboot
