can we place this as optional enabled, or put it back i was using this

- click on first preview in say a news article list
- scan article
- swipe to next

Seems to be inconsistant I can reproduce by opening the music app on the side

1. Open both this page, and music app side stage, typing seems to work
2. Hit play on a song
3. Go back to this page and try typing in the box again

yes, we need a "dimed" look to apps that are in this mode.
I always try to click on the screen shot multiple times before it
