I managed to get it to work on the live CD (of 4.5). The problem is that after you enter the WEP password it asks for a different key that needs to be entered twice. The solution is to click cancel instead of entering random keys and then it works fine.

Netgreat WG111v3 does not connect to WEP networks on a live CD but connects fine after you install Trisquel.

I'm not sure why it's not working for you. AR242x is one of the supported chipsets. It should be working out of the box.

Boo. It didn't work. Ubuntu states it is AR5001, but Trisquel AR242x. The driver is ath5k. Is that a free driver?

For a while, zareason was offering Trisquel preinstalled on laptops that were fully free software compatible, but they don't seem to be doing that anymore.

There are no sellers of exclusively free software compatible wireless usb adapters. It's best to find a USB adapter from h-node that you like and search for a good price on that one (on Amazon or elsewhere). However, MOST Atheros wireless-g and wireless-n cards will now work with Trisquel.

es, as soon as you put it in your computer, as long as it is compatible with free drivers, it should automatically work in Trisquel.
