From the KCET Facebook page (they almost religiously promote reruns of

that episode?
To piggy back on this: if you're using Gmail, you'll probably see the small
box with three dots in it. Clicking that opens the various previous parts
of the chain that Gmail is graciously hiding for you for easy deleting. So
when you get four or five levels deep, that things is chock full of
NBC and most of the major cable channels do some sort of letterboxing on
the SD feed for scripted programming in HD and some reality shows (based on
the show). NBC doesn't letterbox reality shows, for some reason, and TBS
doesn't letterbox Conan. CBS, ABC and The CW for some reason continue to
TWC (at least in the Charlotte area) has converted to all HD boxes. I have one
SD set where I have an HD box attached, and if I tune to an HD station, the
picture is appropriately letter boxed. If I use the SD channel number, in many
cases the picture is clipped on the sides.

I thought the opening bit went on a little too long. And it wasn't that

Stewart and John Oliver were okay in their co-anchor bit.
