I can't recall if I reviewed my Secret Service history with the Tonight
Show here previously. The greatest amount of interaction I had with them
was when I worked the studio across the hall while in charge of the talent
on Your Big Break during the 2000 campaign then VP Gore, then first lady

No, Leno definitely did go out into the crowd and get his high 5's,
Well, that's the Jay Leno show in a nutshell - it's effectively encased in
amber.
I'd be shocked if Leno was able to do his high-five BS on the night Obama
appeared - I'd think Secret Service would be keeping the audience at a
distance that night.

I didn't see his entrance on the night that Obama was on, but I watched the
night that Mark Cuban was on and I didn't see any discernable difference
between now and 15+ years ago.

Hey, hey, I resemble that remark. I'm no Leno fan, but as a fan of TV and the

wants to face someone who will throw harder softball questions". I haven't
seen the episode, nor do I plan to, but I think Leno's MO goes all the way
back to Hugh Grant in 1995. He's gonna ask the questions that people want

I watched last night's episode of the Tonight Show this morning (thanks
Hulu), for what may be the first time since Leno's first week back after
deposing Conan (its possible I have seen one or two other shows since then,
but I can't remember it right now).
Leno seems to have put on some weight, an
