Schmooze and
Views
Date:  Wednesday, May 1
Time:  6:30 PM Dinner / 7:00 PM Discussion
Location:  Dave & Erika's house, 3 Seville Court, Durham

This month we're discussing Israel and situation in the Middle East.
Come share lively discussion and bring your opinions and your open mind.
Dinner at 6:30 and the discussion starts at 7:00.  We'll be at Dave and
Erika's house so bring money for pizza if you want to eat and we'll order
at 6:45 (or call them at 596-0377 if you're running late and want to eat).
Looking forward to a good discussion.
From I-40, exit Miami Blvd and go north.  Drive about 4 miles.
Pass Alexander and turn right at the next light (Lumley Road).  Drive 1.5
miles and pass the golf course on your left.  Start looking for the
entrance to Ashley Forest subdivision on your left.  Turn left into the
subdivision (Appling Way).  Turn right at the second street (Seville Court)
and we are at 3 Seville Court.  You cannot see our house number
(big tree blocking it) but we have a cow mailbox and a single car garage
(my neighbors all have 2-car garages). From Hwy 70 (Raleigh area), drive
towards Durham and turn left onto Page Road (Kemps Seafood is on the
corner).  Drive about 1 mile to Lumley Road and turn right.  Turn at
the second right into Ashley Forest West subdivision (Appling Way).  Please
note that if you're coming from this direction, read the street signs on the
right...they are different on the left.  Turn right at the second street
(Seville Court) and we are at 3 Seville Court.  You cannot
see our house number (big tree blocking it) but we have a cow mailbox
and a single car garage (my neighbors all have 2-car garages). If you
need more specific directions, feel free to call 596-0377.

Saturday, Jan. 15 -- Ice Skating, Location and Time TBA

Join TYJP as we have our much anticipated return to the ice. We are
currently investigating renting the rink so that we can have the place to
ourselves. Not only does that decrease the highly mobile knee-high
hazards, but it will also enable us the opportunity to play broomball on
half the ice if desired. In order to reserve ice though, the session must
be held after midnight.

Please RSVP to Erika ([EMAIL PROTECTED], 596-0377), ASAP if you are
interested and willing to commit.

2nd Annual North Carolina Jewish Film Festival. There are many
performances and films, but we've picked Cup Final as it looked most
intriguing to critic-extrordinaire, Dave Kaye.

The film festival runs from Jan 20 - Jan 23 and includes 18 films with
varying titles, including There's No Such Thing As A Chanuka Bush.

Please RSVP for the consideration of the wait staff. Need info? call
