seeing that they are not moving in the respective direction? Has your
terminal definition file been modified? Check your ...\uv\terminfo\v

I have a co-worker that is trying to get a stored procedure to run from
Excel via an ODBC connection. What he is trying to do is have a routine
that will regenerate some data whenever this query is run or the refresh
button is clicked. This is a straight ODBC connection run against UniData
We're a Datatel client also, and have the same problem. It seems to happen
most often when do UniQuery stuff with i-descriptors, especially
i-descriptors that call subroutines (not necessarily Datatel subroutines,
sometimes the UniData subroutines that are meant to be used in
i-descriptors)
I used to experience lots of core dumps on UV 8 and 9 (DG/ux) when running TCL
selects/sorts that had I-descriptors. I think it was someone on this list that
suggested we look to see if the I-desc's had COMMON blocks in them. Sure
enough, they did. We removed the COMMON blocks, recompiled

I had converted normal UV accounts to a schema for one client because it
improved the access via ODBC/ADO. You could then access the data files
externally as SQL tables or normally in UV. Just remember to grant
'public' sufficent access for the normal UV users to work.

I have IIS running and I have a Universe database on top of Windows XP. I have
a Hello page in HTML with a form and the submit action a name that I have in
the same directory as the Hello page is in.
So the hello page
OK I did a search on my system for where the UNIRPC32.dll lives and figured out
how to add a PATH variable to the .bat file. So now it doesn't complain about
not being able to find the dll but it still doesn't run the universe routine.

The vt220 file within the terminfo file is a binary file; you would not benefit
by opening it.
You need to create a source file using the uvtidc command. This is a text file
that you can read.
uvtidc terminfo/v/vt220 vt220.src
