use PJL for extended setup functions. It was pretty much the

Have you tried using Ec l 1 G which I found on Canon's site?

I do the same thing.
Prepend the PJL stuff, add in the HOLD data, then postpend more PJL and
send it to the UV driver, which sends it using lpd

I can't find my PJL sheet for the IR5K.
Can you harvest the correct PJL by setting

I haven't been able to figure out how to get it to select the
output bin.
It has two bins...I tried Ec l # G (using both 1 and 2), but both
select the upper bin.
