Not exactly the right forum.but, assuming you're running AIX being a
Datatel customer, sshd is likely being started from /etc/rc.d/rc2.d.
As to the sendmail question, you probably want to hit the Datatel
forums for that one. I'm not that familiar with the Colleague admin stuff.
/sbin/service sshd stop will stop the sshd service. To stop it auto
starting on reboot it depends on perhaps what rellevel you are running on
and how it was started originally etc
you can just remove the link from /etc/rc{rellevel}.d The link will be
something like s55sshd
