We hooked Crystal Reports up to Unidata over 10 years ago - I'm sure it will
still work (although there can be a fair bit of setup involved).
We just setup an account with ODBC access then pretty much anything will

I'm guessing that it was probably us they were referring to.
Visage gives you 2 choices in terms of reporting - the Visage.Reporter gives you a
drag'n'drop report design facility to produce "traditional" banded reports & forms.
These reports can be physically sent to a printer, generated as PDF

Well, there is Informer from the US. Have a
look at http://www.entrinsik.com/solutions/informer.cfm
Also, Visage has a report writer component I think. It
is from AU. www.staminasoftware.com
BesignBAIS may include a report writer as well. I am
not sure. www.designbais.com

Mark,
You might want to consider our Informer Web Reporting Software. It is
designed to make reporting from MV databases intuitive and easy. A few
features that might be important to your client are:
- It has a friendly and intuitive Web / browser client interface.
- It accesses the
Mark,
If you wish to take a look at mvQuery, there is a free evaluation available.
Just drop an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
It is windows based, but then so is CR - mvQuery however sticks to the mv
modes and does not require ODBC or other layers.

Our FabGen 4GL includes a report generator that creates reports both in
ASCII code, for character-based terminals and terminal emulators, and in
html for browsers.
Please contact me off-line if you'd like a demo.

However, most (all) of these "deviate" from mv in that they are probably GUI, and
