Confirming this still occurs in 2.6.20-15 for me - I randomly get board
temp exceeded 100C, shutting down messages and have to use -12 to stop
this happening

Ah, it looks like this bug (if it is one, which I guess it probably
isn't) would actually be in the Gnome system defaults, as I've just
changed the shortcuts set up in Gnome from the defaults (0xa2 for play,
0xa4 for stop, 0x90 for prev, 0x99 for next) to the various XF86Audio*
keys. I assume that
fixed in python2.5.1 in feisty

There is no dbgsym package. The libpango1.0-0 matches the dbg
package:

You'll want your '/etc/network/interfaces' file to look like:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
For every network adapter there should be auto and inet lines. Then
network-manager will configure and manage all of your network adapters.

I just tried something totally new. I picked up an old crt monitor and
booted a live CD and it completed the boot AND had a display output at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] THEN, while it was still up and running, I unplugged the
CRT monitor and plugged in the flat panel monitor, and it switched on !
I have
the other workaround would be to add HorizSync and VertRefresh to the
xorg.conf and use vesa. The original reporter told that running 'sudo
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg' and accepting default values made it
work, has someone else tried that?
