posted them. Anyhow, I just uninstalled (apt-get remove at-spi) and it
got rid of a few other packages but after you remove it you can login

I am experiencing the same problem on my laptop ( Asus A8JS ). I have
selected 'PCM' as the Master channel for KMix and the laptop volume keys
work for increasing decreasing volume. However it appears that the

Now I got the GUI to work. When I use the send to-command and choose
obex, it starts to search for devices. It won't find any devices until i
try to connect to the computer from my phone. The connection attempt
fails, but the send to prompt finds my phone. After that the file
sending goes smoothly.
Thank you for showing the way to the test plan. I went through all the
steps. The trick to get gnome-obex-send to work was to add "-d
" so for example "gnome-obex-send -d 00:16:70:C4:19:F5
test.jpg" works just fine. It used to work without the address.

keyboard. While everything works in gnome-terminal, firefox, Qt apps,
login screen and so on, some of the applications (Evolution and Gedit

Adding the nvram group did not fix the problem. The only thing so far
that seems to work is booting without ldap enabled. Things basically
worked ok on dapper, but eft has been something of a minor disaster so
far.

I get the same problem with xubuntu edgy eft and already saw it with xubuntu
dapper drake on my 8 years old laptop.l
Both usb and cdrom hang after copying some mb, both when i am copying from
filemanager thunar to the desktop and when copying via cp.

I do believe your test case is not testing what the patch solves.
The problem I was trying to solve was that after autofs mounted a location,
hald would stat that mount
on a regular basis, preventing the autofs auto-unmount timeouts from expiring
and unmounting the
mount.

For me in edgy, this is caused by an old installation of istanbul, where
the .pyc and .pyo files was not removed correctly. The .py files was
gone...

X sometimes crashes at random. I get a console for a few seconds then it
starts up again to the gdm login window.
This is what the /var/log/Xorg.0.log file reports about the crash,
everything priror to this has to do with the X startup.
