It could depend on the media, if you can try in windows with the same

storage, if you have more than 1 and you safely remove one, then the
option disappears on the others, including eject and safely remove from
CD-Rom options.

Clone mode is working for you all? I wish, I just get a 100% white

I linked this with gnome-desktop too, because it seems to be a GUI
problem. At least, someone there should know where to look next. I still
don't know who's responsible for the shutdown dialog.

Oh, and it never ever happened with anything else, and it always happens
with the shutdown options screen, so I'm more inclined to think it the
screen rather than xorg.

It's an Intel "Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express Integrated Graphics
Controller".
That's what Device manager says, I have no idea how to figure out which
one it is. It's a Dell Latitude laptop that wasn't purchased by me. The
Dell site says 950, but that might be a newer edition.

Has this been fixed yet? I've been hit with this one recently. I
converted all my jamendo ogg's to MP3's since my player can't handle
them.

With the latest updates it started to work. I'm not sure which update it
was (Xorg 7.2 or something else), but now I can get it back to work.
I had to add 'decoration' back to the plugin list in gconf, it seemed
the failed attempts in the past had removed it.
I also had to kill (restart) my gnome
