I went ahead with the installation and it does in fact install the
legacy drivers. 3-D accelleration does work. Is the Ti4600 supposed to
be using the legacy drivers now? My xorg file is attached:

symptom.: I still do not get a grub menu from a cold start, but do if I
do a restart from within Feisty

I can't think of any way to reproduce the bug, it appears to occur

No extensions are installed.
I have removed the RealPlayer and Flash plugins. I have installed the

Also "usershare allow guest", "usershare max shares" and "usershare
owner only" should be configured. IMO, the defaults should be, when
usershares are enabled, true, 100, and false.

I confirm this. When installing Ubuntu Feisty Beta, the NTFS-resize
operation gave no feedback of progress to the user. After a long wait
the resize operation was suddently finished, but the user had no clue
about if it works and how long it would takes to resize the old

Retried 6.06LTS and there is nothing in casper.log. When trying 6.06
the splash gets to mounting root filesystem, which doesnt suceed.
going `ls /cdrom` from the busybox shell shows that /cdrom is empty, I
presume this is where the live file system is supposed to be?

it other than this. it's been running the Marvell 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit

Using Fiesty Beta live CD on my brand new Core 2 Duo System, Intel GA-
965P-DS3P, 2GB ram, nVidia 7300 GT PCIE Graphics Hauppage PVR150 PCI IDE
CD-ROM and a SATA2 HDD. I get the same (?) or a similar problem with
system starting to boot and goes to;
udevd-event[2065] : run_program '/sbin/mod
On some machines, xscreensaver (and, for that matter, KDE's screensaver)
doesn't seem to play nice with DPMS. Submitting a bug-report on a 2-year old
release would be rather pointless.
Also, would be nice to have all the latest hacks. In addition, the API has
changed somewhat.

I installed 0.2.7 .debs from getdeb.net (edgy version, because there was
no feisty binaries, but that doesn't matter I guess), and this bug is
fixed.
0.2.7 release looks more solid in other aspects too. Any chances
upgrading version in Feisty?
