Many thanks for the advice. I followed both suggestions.
From the Western Digital site I downloaded something called Data Lifeguard
and used it to run an extended diagnostic test of the drive. After running
48 minutes and testing every sector, the drive passed. So I'm reasonably
sure that
MDL currency is also missing in Feisty (GnuCash 2.0.2 built from r14936
on 2007-01-28). AAMOF it looks like gnucash itself doesn't know at all
about MDL :(

class Option in app.py uses int values 0, 1 to set user preferences.
When user change a preference in a checkbox that value was changed to boolean

These are very old reports that look like people with bad configurations
mostly. If there is still a problem with gdm in debian testing I think
there would be newer reports than 2005. Since testing is always changing
and there are no recent problems I suggest we close this report.

Okay. Indeed - the issue is that update-notifier needs to be installed. The
package fails elsewise. I'll add this to the packaging. For now, install
update-notifier manually followed by mythtv-database. Update-notifier

Please can you post the following additional information, (please pay attention
to lspci's additional options), as required by the Ubuntu Kernel Team:
1. Please include the output of the command uname -a in your next response.
If you can, can you run the dmesg command straight after you've resumed, and
have started to see the problems?
If gnome crashes, you should be able to get into a terminal by pressing Ctrl -
Alt - F1. Gdm is on F7, and there is terminals on F1 - F6.

I'm also having the same problem in Ubuntu Feisty. I'm using Nvidia
graphicscard and metacafe. The problem disappears if the desktop effects
are activated as mentioned before.

file-roller does not support drag-and-drop files in Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 Final.

does preventing the kernel module from loading. Both steps disable 3D/DRI, so I
