I've noticed that the latest beta of the flashplayer (implemented using
XEmbed) has a similar problem. It never receives any mouse clicks when
raise_on_click is false unless shift is held down (holding down shift
seems to work around this bug w/ ndiswrapper, as well).

Your advice was quite useful. I too removed gs-esp, and installed gs-
gpl. As an Ubuntu novice, however, I ran into difficulties installing
gv. I'm using Feisty Fawn, and when I try to use apt-get to install gv,
it reinstalls gs-esp. So, I'm just doing without gv for the time being.

I found that the similar problem I was having came from Network Manager
thinking I wasn't connected -- see, my wifi was set to roaming, and
when i specified the network i usually use, networkmanager didn't think
i wasn't connected anymore, and pidgin works now.

Happened to me. No NFS share or SMB. Was scanning my collection as new

To trick eclipse about the installation directory, I've created a folder
(/opt/tomcat/) with symlink to all the folders that are in an installation of
tomcat.
/opt/tomcat/ :
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 2007-07-25 00:56 bin - /usr/share/tomcat5.5/bin
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 2007-07-25 00:57
gutsy pretty stable at this point? Thanks for the doc tip last night.

I actually fixed this. I had accidentally made too many partitions, and
finally figured out how to delete them, did so, and reinstalled it. This
worked.

I have the Hp dv2020ca with Amd Turion 64 and Ubuntu 7.04 and also Win
xp.
The dual-boot works fine, and besides a bios-bug all works fine! I
only have one huge problem, my wireless only works sometimes. At this
moment I'm lucky that it works now that i can ask this
